 First of All, Happy Thanksgiving to my American Friends! May you have lots to be grateful for!

Yesterday, on my FB live, I played with the November paper pumpkin Gifts Galore.  Oh what fun this kit is . So much fun that I decided to start a kit club.

So here are the details.


Join me on the THIRD Saturday of every month from 1-4 pm mst for a Zoom call and craft.  Having a tea and stamping with others is my favourite way to spend an afternoon.

 

There is no cost to join, and no commitment to come every month. However I do ask that you purchase a kit each month from me or have a current Paper Pumpkin subscription from me to join.

Side Wrap – 3-1/2 x 11-15/16″
Score at – 1-9/16, 4-7/16, 7-3/8, 10-1/4″ (Or simply wrap it around the base to get your score lines)

We created a wonderful

    Spanner Panel Card

Cutting Dimensions:

BASE:

• Mint Macaron: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4", measure from the outside edge of the

cardstock at 1 1⁄4” and cut from the crease of the card base to the open edge. Complete

this step for both sides of the card base.

BASE SIDES:

• Basic Black: 1 1/8” x 4 1/8”, cut 2

• Designer Series Paper: 1” x 4”, cut 2

BASE CENTER:

• Basic Black: 2 7/8” x 4 1/8” + scrap for the scalloped edge

• Designer Series Paper: 2 3/4" x 4”

• Greeting: 3/4" x 2 3/4"

• Window Sheet (bridge): 1 1/4" x 5 1/2"

INSIDE:

• Thick Basic White (greeting)3/4” x 3”

• Thick Basic White (inside): 4” x 5 1/4"

Tri fold shutter card

 Good morning Friends! 

have you seen the latest photo of my Big Boy, Mr. Buttons! 


Isn't he precious!
Today's feature:





Hand Penned Fancy Fold(tri fold shutter card?)

Supplies needed:

Card stock: Card base 5 ¼ x 11

                       Basic White 7 ½ x 5; 1 ¾ x 2 ¼

                       Basic Black 2 ½ x 1 7/8 ; 1 ½ x 2; 4 ¼ x 5 ½

DSP;             

                       2  pcs 1 ½ x 5; 4 pcs 1 ½ x 1 ¼; 2 pcs ½ x 3 ¾;

                       1 pc 1 ¼ x 1 ¾

Instructions:

Score your card base @ 1 ¾, 3 ½, 5 ¼, and 7

Measure 1 ½ down from the top and 1 ½ up from the bottom

Cut between the first and third score line.

Apply your DSP panels 1 ½ x 5 to the first scored panel And the fourth panel.

Apply your four small pieces 1 ½ 1 ¼ to scored panels 2 & 3.

Apply your piece of black which measure 2 ½ x 1 7/8 to the left of cut piece of panel 2, there will be overlap of apx 7/8 of an inch.

Apply your piece of black which measures 1 ½ x 2 onto panel 3. Adhere your piece of DSP 1 ¼ x 1 ¾ on panel 3.

 

Stamp a sentiment on your piece of white which measures

2 ¼ x 1 ¾ and adhere to panel 2 on the black.

 

On your piece of white which measures 3 ¾ x 5, stamp another sentiment (if desired), decorate this piece with the 2 strips of ½ x 3 ¾ , one on top & one on bottom.  Adhere this piece to panel 5, using liquid glue.

Final step adhere the entire piece to the basic black piece which measures 4 ¼ x 5 ½.

Additional supplies you will need:

Paper trimmer &/or scoreboard

Liquid glue, tape runner stamp n seal +

Here is a short tutorial on an easy Christmas Card:

Supplies needed Card stock 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" scored @4 1/4"(smoky slate 131202)

                                            (1) 4" x 5 1/4"( basic gray 121044)

                                           (1)  4" x 5 1/4" one for inside of card (basic white 159276)                                            (1) 3 3/4" x 5"(basic white 159276)

                  DSP        (1)  3 1/2" x 4 3/4" cut a 2 "slit up the middle (Peaceful PlaceDSP)(156394)

    other supplies--large sentiment stamp( I used Evergreen Elegance (153313)

                            Versa mark ink102283), Silver embossing powder(155555)

                            Glittered organdy ribbon (apx 8") (156408)

                            Red Rhinestones (146924), Rhinestones basic jewels(144220)

                            adhesives of your choice


Instructions:

1. Fold back the slits on your DSP to create an upside down shirt collar  Position this on one of your 4" x 5 1/4" pieces of white cardstock. DO NOT .glue the DSP yet, we just want to get the right spot for the sentiment to be stamped . Using your embossing buddy swipe it over your white card stock, This will help the powder not stick where you don't want it.  

2.Using your Large Greeting stamp and the Versamark ink, stamp your greeting. Apply your Silver Embossing powder  and heat until it is melted and becomes a brilliant silver.

3.Adhere your DSP to the cardstock piece with your sentiment. You may need to adjust the slit on your DSP

4. Adhere these 2 pieces to the basic grey panel which measures 4" x 5 1/4"

5.adhere to the smoky slate card base.

6. At the point where the fold backs meet attach a bow

7. Using rhinestones embellish your card.

8.If you wish you may stamp a sentiment on the remaining white piece which will go on the inside of

 the card.

 Here is a short tutorial for the card I created on fb live on June 16/21


Expressions in ink

 

Supplies you will need:

                Artistically inked bundle

Cardstock—Polished Pink card base 8 ½”x5 ½” scored at 4 1/4” another piece cut at 2 ¾”x 5”

                      Basic White cut at 4” x 5 ¼” scrap of white for sentiment

                         White piece 4 ½”x 4 ½” for die cut flower

                         Gold foil Cardstock to cut the leaves, and a piece to back the sentiment

Designer Series Paper—Expressions in ink 2”x 5”

INK: Versamark

Embossing Powder—Gold

Embellishments—in color jewels

Liquid glue, Dimensionals

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set the card base aside, and lets assemble the front of the card.

Using the artistically inked bundle and the 4 ½”x 4 ½” piece of white cardstock cut out your flower.

Cut the leaves in the gold foil.  Using the oval punch cut the back piece in gold foil

Stamp your sentiment in the Versamark ink, add embossing powder and heat emboss.

Adhere your DSP to the pink piece which measures 2 ¾” x 5”

Adhere that piece to the white cardstock which measures 4” x 5 ¼”

Using liquid glue adhere the flower to the front of the DSP, Using the liquid glue again, apply to the leaves and tuck those in here and there.

Glue your sentiment to your gold backing. Attach this to the front of the with dimensionals.

Add your embellishments to the front.

Attach the front to the card base.    

If you wish you can adhere a piece of white (4”x 5 ¼”) to the inside of the card.

You're a Peach

Supply list: Sweet as a peach bundle(155823), Pattern Party Designer series paper(155426), Granny Apple green (146990)& Calypso Cora(122925) Card stock, Liquid glue(110755) , dimensionals(104430).

EMBELLISHMENTS: Champagne Rhinestones (151193)

INK:  Momento black ink(132708), Calypso Coral(122934) , Granny Apple Green(147095)

TOOLS: Double oval punch(154242) ,Stamp n cut n emboss machine

Measurements: 1 piece of coloured card stock 4 1/4" x5 1/2"(granny Apple Green) which will be your                                  card base.

                          1 piece of contrasting card stock, 3" x 8 1/2"(calypso Coral)

                          1 piece of Dsp 4" x 5 1/4"

                          1 piece of coordinating DSP 2 3/4" x 5"

                          Scraps of  Granny Apple Green, basic white,  

Directions:

                        1. Score your Calypso Coral @ 5 1/4"

                        2. Using  your liquid glue adhere the 4" x 5 1/4" Dsp to the Calypso coral making sure                                 you  have the Dsp flush on the score line.

                        3. adhere the second piece of DSP to the Calypso Coral.

                        4.  Using a piece of white scrap stamp your outside sentiment, also stamp the peach and                                    the leaf.

                        5. USING THE DOUBLE OVAL PUNCH CUT OUT YOUR SENTIMENT, Using the                                     same punch cut out the larger oval from a scrap of Granny Apple Green.

                        6. Using the die cuts from the bundle, cut out the peach and the leaf.

                        7. Stamp your inside sentiment on the piece of DSP 4" x 5 1/4"

                        8. Assembling the card-- adhere your punched sentiment usingliquid glue to the Granny                             Apple Green punched piece, mount this to the front of the card using dimensionals. 

                            assemble your peach using the liquid gluemount that to the front of the card. Now                                    adhere the whole thing to the Granny Apple Green base.

                            Embellish your card.
